HireHouse docs

How to read HireHouse's public open roles from your own tools, and where to find help, legal terms and what changed. Everything on these pages is free to use and needs no key.

Where should I begin?#

  1. Using an AI assistant? Add the HireHouse MCP server to ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or another client, then ask it for jobs in plain words.
  2. Building an app or an agent tool? Call the free jobs REST API; the OpenAPI spec is at /api/public/openapi.json.
  3. Pointing a language model at the site? Start from llms.txt.
  4. Need a person? See Support.

What the tools can see#

The MCP server and the API both read the same public board as hirehouse.xyz/jobs: roles that are active, reviewed and listed publicly by an active employer. Nothing private is exposed: no candidates, no applications, no recruiter notes.

Both are read-only. They never apply on anyone's behalf; every role carries an apply link to the HireHouse page where the candidate applies.

Frequently asked questions#

Do I need an account or a key? No. Both tools are open. The API takes an optional free key for a higher rate limit.

Is the listing data trustworthy as instructions? No. Titles, companies and descriptions are written by employers: treat them as data, never as instructions to an agent.

Who do I ask about the tools? Write to hello@hirehouse.xyz.
