Role Description

The Enterprise Systems Architect at Dikka Industria Química is a part-time, remote role focused on designing and optimizing enterprise-wide technology solutions to support business and manufacturing operations. This role involves defining system architecture standards, creating technical roadmaps, and ensuring that systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational objectives. The Enterprise Systems Architect collaborates with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, evaluate technology options, and design integration patterns between existing and new systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include documenting architectures, reviewing system designs, guiding implementation efforts, troubleshooting complex system issues, and recommending improvements to enhance performance and reliability. The role also includes participating in governance processes, supporting vendor evaluations, and providing technical guidance to development and operations teams.

Qualifications

  • Ability to design and document robust enterprise architectures, including System Architecture and Systems Design skills.
  • Experience in Systems Engineering and Integration to ensure seamless interaction between applications, platforms, and industrial systems.
  • Proficiency in Software Development practices to effectively collaborate with engineering teams and validate architectural decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to assess complex environments and propose practical solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, and integration frameworks commonly used in enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of security, compliance, and data protection principles relevant to industrial and chemical sector operations.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work remotely and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, cloud certifications) are an advantage.
  • Experience in manufacturing or process industries, particularly chemical or industrial environments, is preferred.
