The cloud/platform engineer builds and runs the secure UAE-hosted environment the solutions live on, and keeps it running through managed operation.

What you will do

• Design and build the cloud landing zone in UAE regions: networking, private endpoints, identity, key management, logging.
• Automate everything as code (Bicep or Terraform) with CI/CD pipelines for development, test and production.
• Apply security controls to recognised standards (ISO 27001 and UAE information-security standards) and produce evidence for audits.
• Run monitoring, backup, disaster recovery and incident response during managed operation, against agreed service levels.
• Hand the platform over with runbooks and train the client's IT team.

Must have

• Significant experience in cloud infrastructure, mainly on Microsoft Azure in production.
• Infrastructure as code (Bicep or Terraform) and CI/CD (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
• Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, private networking, Key Vault, Azure Monitor and Defender for Cloud.
• Experience hosting AI services (Azure OpenAI, AI Search) securely.
• Already present in the UAE and can start immediately (with 5 days notice).

Nice to have

• Microsoft certifications AZ-104, AZ-305 or AZ-500.
• Experience with UAE sovereign or certified cloud environments.
• Container platforms (AKS, Container Apps).
