Project Engineer (Construction)

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic construction team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery while adhering to budgetary constraints.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise construction activities to ensure project milestones are achieved on schedule.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to review plans, specifications, and drawings.
• Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports for management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies on-site.
• Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
• Identify and resolve any technical issues that arise during the construction phase.
• Assist in budget estimation and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site inspections to guarantee work is performed in accordance with specifications and standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven 8 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the construction (Buildings / Infrastructure / Civil Works) industry, preferably within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
