About the Role
We are looking for a React JS Developer to build and maintain high-quality, performant user interfaces for our web applications. You will work closely with product designers, backend engineers, and product managers to translate requirements into responsive, accessible, and maintainable front-end experiences. The ideal candidate is deeply familiar with the React ecosystem, cares about component design and user experience, and can balance shipping features with technical quality.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable React applications using modern JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Build reusable, well-tested component libraries and design system primitives.
- Implement client-side state management using appropriate patterns (e.g., Context, Redux, Zustand, or React Query) for the use case.
- Integrate with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, handling loading, error, and pagination states cleanly.
- Optimize rendering performance, bundle size, and Core Web Vitals across browsers and devices.
- Collaborate with designers to translate Figma mockups into pixel-accurate, accessible UI.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright/Cypress).
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and mentorship of junior engineers.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, linting, and front-end infrastructure.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience building production React applications.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript, including async patterns and module systems.
- Deep understanding of React fundamentals: hooks, component lifecycle, reconciliation, and unidirectional data flow.
- Hands-on experience with state management solutions and the trade-offs between them.
- Solid grasp of HTML5, CSS3 (or CSS-in-JS / Tailwind / CSS Modules), and responsive design.
- Experience with modern build tooling (Vite, Webpack, esbuild) and package management (npm, pnpm, yarn).
- Familiarity with routing libraries (React Router, TanStack Router) and form libraries (React Hook Form, Formik).
- Practical experience testing React components and debugging browser-side issues using DevTools.
- Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO-friendly SPA patterns.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Next.js, Remix, or other React meta-frameworks (SSR/SSG/ISR).
- Familiarity with React 18+ concurrent features (Suspense,
useTransition, Server Components). - Knowledge of micro-frontends, monorepos (Nx, Turborepo), or module federation.
- Exposure to design systems (Material UI, Radix, shadcn/ui, or custom-built systems).
- Experience with real-time data (WebSockets, SSE) or collaborative editing patterns.
- Contributions to open-source projects or an active GitHub portfolio.
