Senior Full Stack / Platform Engineer (AI)

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack / Platform Engineer to join a major technology programme in Dubai.

This is a hands-on engineering role suited to someone who can work across the full application lifecycle — building modern user interfaces, backend services and APIs, through to data, security, deployment and production support.

You'll be involved in both rapid development of new solutions and taking those products through to secure, scalable production environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern web applications using React, Next.js and TypeScript
• Build scalable backend services using Node.js
• Design and work with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
• Develop and integrate secure REST APIs
• Deliver features from initial concept/prototype through to production
• Implement authentication, SSO and access-control solutions
• Build real-time functionality using WebSockets
• Containerise and deploy applications using Docker
• Work with and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with product, design and business teams on new solutions
• Improve application security, scalability, reliability and performance
• Integration of AI/LLM services or multiple AI model providers

Requirements

• 6+ years' software engineering / full-stack development experience
• Strong React / Next.js / TypeScript experience
• Strong backend development experience with Node.js
• Hands-on PostgreSQL / SQL experience
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and modern application architecture
• Experience deploying and supporting production applications
• Docker and CI/CD experience
• Understanding of authentication and authorization including SSO, OAuth2/OIDC and RBAC

Advantageous Experience

Experience in any of the following would be beneficial:

• SAML SSO integrations
• RBAC / ABAC
• Microsoft Entra ID, Okta or similar identity platforms
• WebSockets and real-time applications
• OpenAPI / Swagger
• Prisma, Drizzle or similar ORM frameworks
• PWA / Service Workers
• B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms
• Banking, fintech, financial services or other regulated environments.
