Full-Stack Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Full Stack Engineer (0–2+ years experience) to join our engineering team and work on web applications primarily serving Dubai-based clients. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career developers who want to grow rapidly by shipping production features across the stack — from intuitive user interfaces to robust backend services. You'll be paired with senior engineers, but expected to take real ownership of your work end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive web applications using modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js) and TypeScript.
• Develop, test, and deploy backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js (Express/NestJS) or similar frameworks.
• Design and query relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and work with ORMs such as Prisma, TypeORM, or Sequelize.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services commonly used in client projects (payment gateways, CRMs, auth providers, analytics).
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate Dubai-market requirements into clean, shippable features.
• Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews and uphold quality standards.
• Debug production issues across the stack and contribute to incident postmortems.
• Stay current with the web ecosystem and proactively suggest improvements to tools, patterns, and processes.

Requirements

• 0–2+ years of professional full stack development experience (strong internships, personal projects, or open-source contributions are welcome).
• Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one modern frontend framework (React preferred).
• Hands-on experience building REST APIs with Node.js or a comparable backend runtime.
• Familiarity with relational databases, SQL fundamentals, and basic schema design.
• Understanding of HTTP, authentication (JWT/OAuth), and web security basics (CORS, XSS, CSRF).
• Comfort with Git, command-line tools, and modern deployment workflows (Vercel, AWS, Docker a plus).
• Genuine passion for building products — demonstrated through side projects, hackathons, or contributions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and clear written communication.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Next.js, server components, or other full-stack React frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes basics).
• Exposure to mobile (React Native) or cross-platform development.
• Understanding of the UAE/GCC market — localization, RTL layouts, regional payment providers, or compliance basics.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright), and observability tooling.
• Knowledge of design systems, accessibility (WCAG), and performance optimization.
