Solar Sales Engineer

Business Development & Sales: Identify, negotiate, and close on-grid, off-grid and hybrid Solar EPC Projects, including Battery Energy Storage Systems and O&M contracts.

• Trading & Distribution: Drive sales of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and related equipment. Identify high-demand products and recommend new distribution and trading opportunities, including water treatment solutions.
• O&M Business Growth: Secure recurring O&M contracts from new and existing projects, maximizing long-term client retention and recurring revenue.
• Revenue Generation: Consistently achieve quarterly sales targets, maintain a strong pipeline, and convert qualified opportunities into signed contracts and purchase orders.
• Client & Industry Relationships: Build and leverage an established network of developers, EPC contractors, consultants, government entities, commercial and industrial clients, and key decision-makers.
• Sales Strategy: Recommend commercially viable growth strategies, new market opportunities, and fast-moving products based on market demand and competitor analysis.
• Technical & Commercial Proposals: Prepare and negotiate quotations, proposals, tenders, and commercial offers in coordination with engineering and operations teams.
• Corporate Representation: Professionally represent IAN at senior-level client meetings, government engagements, industry exhibitions, and business negotiations.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering or similar (mandatory).
• Industry Background (Mandatory): Must have previously worked for established Solar PV and Energy Storage companies actively engaged in EPC, Trading &Distribution, and O&M services in UAE.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven solar and energy storage sales/business development experience in Dubai and the UAE.
• UAE Driving Licence: Mandatory.

Salary:

AED 12,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
