Site Engineer - Infrastructure

We are looking for a Site Engineer with experience in infrastructure and road projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities related to stormwater drainage, pipelines, and other infrastructure works.
• Ensure all site activities comply with approved shop drawings, project specifications, and construction schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, foremen, labor teams, and suppliers to maintain efficient workflow and timely completion of works.
• Monitor material usage, report discrepancies, and coordinate material requirements with the procurement team.
• Identify site issues and propose technical solutions to minimize delays.
• Attend toolbox talks with foremen before starting new activities.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Identify potential site hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Prepare daily progress reports and weekly look-ahead schedules.
• Maintain proper site documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and issue logs.
• Implement corrective actions for quality and safety issues.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) requirements, project specifications, and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience as a Site Engineer in infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on experience in stormwater drainage, pipeline installation, and related infrastructure or utility works.
• Familiarity with relevant UAE construction standards, ADM requirements, and site safety procedures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred.
