About the role
- Review requirements and user stories, and write test plans, test scenarios and test cases, including edge cases.
- Run functional, regression, integration and smoke testing for web and mobile applications.
- Build and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright or Cypress.
- Test REST APIs with Postman or REST Assured, and validate back-end data with SQL queries.
- Log defects in Jira with clear steps to reproduce, track them to closure and retest fixes.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI).
- Support performance testing with JMeter or k6 when required.
- Work with developers and product owners in an Agile/Scrum team, and report test status and release readiness.
