Job Purpose

  • Provide reliable, responsive, and secure day-to-day IT support across GJ Properties. Responsible for end-user support, user onboarding/access, office technology, network connectivity, telephony, business applications, meeting-room systems, digital displays, and assigned physical-security/low-voltage systems. Acts as the first point of technical support and resolves issues within agreed service levels or escalates when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Desk & End-User Support:
  • Provide L1 and L2 onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, OS, corporate email, browsers, printers, scanners, and applications.
  • Diagnose/resolve hardware, software, driver, connectivity, and user-profile issues; escalate high-impact incidents.
  • Perform daily operational readiness checks on critical office technology (PCs, meeting rooms, displays, sound systems, queue systems).
  • Prioritize urgent executive and boardroom incidents; maintain service records and troubleshooting notes.
  • User Onboarding, Offboarding & Access:
  • Set up new users (Windows profiles, email/signature, phone extensions, printers).
  • Provision and support user access to systems like NetSuite, Salesforce, SignNow, etc.
  • Support employee transfers and exits by revoking access, recovering IT assets, and disabling accounts.
  • Maintain user/device records, directories, and provide short training for new applications/processes.
  • Network, Connectivity & Endpoint Security:
  • Support LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, structured connectivity, internet links, IP addressing, and VPN.
  • Assist with firewall, Cloudflare/WAF, and IP-whitelisting requests.
  • Maintain endpoint health (OS updates, software/driver updates, antivirus).
  • Support password, MFA, and access control practices; report cybersecurity/phishing incidents.
  • Assist with backup/restore checks.
  • Business Applications & Vendor Support:
  • Provide first-line technical support for ERP, CRM, e-signature, telephony, and enterprise applications.
  • Coordinate with vendors, developers, and hosting providers for access, upgrades, integrations, and troubleshooting.
  • Follow up on technical quotations, deliveries, and installations.
  • Telephony, Meeting Rooms & Digital Displays:
  • Configure PBX/iPECS extensions, iPECS Mobile, desk phones, and telephony settings.
  • Support boardroom/meeting room technology (PCs/NUCs, HDMI, displays, projectors, microphones, conferencing gear).
  • Configure and test office TVs, digital signage/billboards, and managed display screens.
  • Provide technical setup for office moves, exhibitions, and events.
  • CCTV, Access Control & Low-Voltage Systems:
  • Support and coordinate maintenance for CCTV, building access control, ANPR/RFID parking barrier systems, and other physical-security technology.
  • Coordinate specialist vendors for installations, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
  • IT Assets, Documentation & Operational Control:
  • Maintain IT asset and stock records (computers, monitors, phones, printers, accessories); track issuance/returns/disposals.
  • Track warranties, subscriptions, and software licenses.
  • Maintain SOPs, quick guides, configuration notes, and an up-to-date knowledge base.
  • Ensure compliance with change-control, confidentiality, and AI/automation tool policies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Networking, Electronics/Telecommunications, or related field. Certifications in ITIL, CompTIA A+/Network+, Microsoft, or Cisco are preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on IT support experience (UAE corporate experience preferred). Experience with multi-user offices, AV, networking, and telephony. Experience in real estate or property management is an advantage.

Required Skills

  • Strong Windows desktop support and troubleshooting (hardware, software, network, peripherals).
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, switches, VPN, and firewall concepts.
  • Practical experience with PBX/IP telephony, printers/scanners, AV/meeting-room equipment, and digital displays.
  • Ability to support enterprise applications (NetSuite, Salesforce, e-signature platforms).
  • Basic cybersecurity hygiene (endpoint protection, MFA, user-access controls).
  • Strong customer-service mindset, vendor coordination, documentation, and clear communication skills.

Working Requirements

  • Primarily onsite support in Ajman, with potential support for other company locations or project sites.
  • After-hours or weekend support may be required for critical incidents, planned maintenance, office moves, or events.
