About the role
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for civil and finishing works.
- Calculate quantities and costs for materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors and other project requirements.
- Estimate manpower requirements and project duration.
- Obtain and compare supplier/subcontractor prices where required.
- Prepare detailed BOQs and costing sheets.
- Ensure quotations include appropriate overheads, wastage, contingency and profit margins.
- Review the scope carefully to avoid omissions and underquoting.
- Support management in negotiating and finalizing project prices.
