Role Description

This is a remote internship role for a Data Analyst at MedTourEasy AP. The intern will assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing healthcare and operational data from multiple sources. Day-to-day tasks include performing basic data analysis, preparing statistical summaries, and supporting the creation of dashboards and reports for internal teams and partner healthcare providers. The Data Analyst intern will help interpret data insights, contribute to data modeling activities, and communicate findings in clear formats for both technical and non-technical audiences. The role also involves documenting methods, maintaining data accuracy, and collaborating with senior analysts on ongoing projects.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics capabilities.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of Statistics and experience applying statistical concepts to real-world datasets.
  • Candidates should possess basic Data Modeling skills, including understanding of data structures and relational concepts.
  • Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills for presenting data insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) is beneficial.
  • Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Healthcare Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Interest in global healthcare systems and willingness to learn about healthcare data and regulatory considerations is an advantage.
